Scientia keeps cookie use to the minimum needed to make the platform work.

What we use

• Session cookie — a single cookie that keeps you signed in. It's HttpOnly (not readable by page scripts) and Secure (only sent over HTTPS). Without it, you'd need to log in again on every page.

What we don't use

• No third-party advertising or tracking cookies.
• No cross-site analytics cookies.

Third-party pages

If you follow a link to PayFast (to pay for a course) or WhatsApp (to message your tutor), those sites set their own cookies under their own policies — Scientia doesn't control that.

Managing cookies

You can block cookies in your browser settings, but you won't be able to stay logged in to Scientia without the session cookie.
